My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mama Sookie! Sookie and her six (!!!) puppies were being dumped at the Baldwin Park Animal Shelter. We were leaving the shelter as we saw the grandma and kids with the crate jammed packed with adorable terriers and we instantly intercepted the entire family.

Sookie has been the absolute best mom her puppies could have asked for. She is very attentive and gentle and sweet. Her puppies are nearly weaned and ready to go home as is Sookie.

Sookie only weighs about 10 lbs and is just a puppy herself at 1 1/2 years young! She LOVES to cuddle and curl up next to your lap and just hang out by your side. Sookie walks well on a leash and is learning crate training/house training. She now deserves to find a family who will love and care for her as much as she has loved and cared for her puppies. Could that be you?
