Cliff's Story...
Cliff is a German Shepherd mix, large-sized, weighing approximately 75 pounds. He is approximately 2 years old. We have had him for about six months. Cliff also has a great temperament. He is very friendly and likes other dogs, adults, and children. He was dropped off in our neighborhood and had taken up well with several families with small kids. He is like a big teddy bear! Although he stays outdoors, Cliff has spent some time indoors and did so without any potty incidents. It seems that he may have previously been housetrained.
if you would be interested in meeting cliff, please email mary at or andi at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cliff, a Londonderry Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Londonderry, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Londonderry.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Londonderry already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Londonderry breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Londonderry paves the way for another one to be saved.
