Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pippa is a great dog. She is a pure-bred Jack Russell Terrier who was imported from England. She is extremely sweet and full of energy. She loves to play ball and run and play. She is very well-trained, understands all the basic commands (sit, stay, down, roll-over, leave) and is potty trained. She loves to go for long walks. She has been on camping trips and beach trips and has been a wonderful companion to her family. She has been loved completely. Unfortunately, her family now has two toddlers and they cannot give Pippa the attention she needs. Pippa is jealous of the children and so her owners have made a difficult decision to find her a new home.
She is good with other people and dogs especially away from home. She can be a little protective in her owner's home, but that is not uncommon and is easily addressed by reassuring her.
She really loves to go for her walks and loves to run around outside and play. She will need a fenced yard. She is very, very smart.
Pippa has had some issues with allergies and has had a full allergy screening. The report is available to the new owner (primarily grasses and pollens and some foods). She went through de-sensitisation treatment about 18 months ago, which gave improvement. She's on Hills Prescription DD food (Allergy Specific) and once a month before her flea treatment she gets a bath in Malaseb Shampoo. Pippa has a chronic cough and is on a nightly treatment of a steroid inhaler (Flixotide) administered with an AeroDawg (Inhaler assister device). This fixes the cough completely and the owner's have a one-year supply of the inhaler left currently which will go to the new owners.
Her owners love her very much and want Pippa to find a safe, loving home. She is such a sweet, happy girl. If you would like to meet Pippa, please contact Christopher Bare at uncbare@yahoo.com.
