Cocoa's Story...
Cocoa had a tough life before she was rescued. Found in very bad shape, starved and negleced. she is now nurtured back to health in foster care. she is a good size , about 40 lbs and around a year old. She is very affectionate and really dedicated to her family. She is a bit nervous when she first gets into a new situation but that is to be expected from what she has dealt with. but she is a complete package, very gentle to all and not aggressive at all . Trained to sit, get treats, leash trained and listens , . contact "tritobin@charter.net' on how to meet her.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cocoa, a Lincolnton Labrador Retriever/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Collie for sale in Lincolnton, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Collie dog from a breeder in Lincolnton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincolnton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincolnton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincolnton paves the way for another one to be saved.
