Sherrie's Story...
Sherry Bobbins wants to be on your lap, on your feet or anywhere close to you at all times. She will be ready for pets whenever you are! House trained. A little bouncy girl. Very loving. Older kids only!

Sherrie can be food aggressive to humans and dogs. She will bite if she feels her territory is invaded when she has food. She has dry eye which requires drops 2 times every day which she allows to be put in without any resistance. Sherrie's eye area will need to be washed with warm water 2-3 times a day to keep it clean. She will run off if not leashed or fenced in. Hearing and sight impaired. She has a heart murmur but is not affecting her right now.

~10 years old, spayed, about 20 pounds.
Her adoption fee is $50. $25 to a senior adopter. Email me at hsopam@yahoo.com for application and any questions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sherrie, a Wallingford Area Maltese/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Shih Tzu for sale in Wallingford Area, or seeking a Maltese/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Wallingford Area.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wallingford Area already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wallingford Area breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Maltese/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wallingford Area paves the way for another one to be saved.
