Lucky Penny's Story...
6 week old female kitten, solid gray with white mittens and blaze.
Will be ready for adoption on July 9th.
We call her "Lucky" Penny because she is lucky to be alive!! Penny was found in the middle of a busy street, she had either been thrown form a car or hit by one. She had a broken tail, a head injury and was covered in fleas. A few weeks of loving care and she has fully healed. Penny will be having surgery on July 5th to remove her tail and repair a hernia. She will also be spayed and have all of her vaccines at that time. She will be micro chipped an ready to go to her FORever home . This precious girl has a huge purr!!! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky Penny, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
