We rescue, aid and adopt out cats and kittens to loving homes. We also manage feral colonies and spay and nueter, vaccinate, test and release those that are truly feral and foster and adopt out those that are adoptable.
We also feed and give medical aid through our vets to sick and suffering cats and kittens. We are trying to reduce the feral cat population and increase adoptions of those animals without homes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simone, a Fort Lauderdale Abyssinian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Abyssinian for sale in Fort Lauderdale, or seeking a Abyssinian cat from a breeder in Fort Lauderdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Lauderdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Lauderdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Abyssinian breeders who help with Abyssinian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Lauderdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
