My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bella is a labby girl mix (perhaps with collie) tomboy who is approximately two years old and weighs 44 pounds. She is both beautiful in looks and in personality. Her soft chocolate shiny coat includes white patches on her chest, tail and paws. You would never know this little girl came from a high kill shelter judging by the amount of love she gives and how she wags her tail. Bella is a very happy girl who gets along great with everyone she meets. She loves to romp and play with her canine foster bro and then likes to nicely settle down to cuddle with her foster mom. She absolutely loves her cloth bone toy and carries it with her throughout the house. Bella is very athletic and runs like the wind. If other dogs are in the home, she does like to be in charge and will need a handler who provides her with consistent leadership so that she knows her place in the pack. She is eager to learn and very praise driven. She is very smart and already knows her basic commands such as sit, down and shake. She enjoys leisure walks and is progressively doing better on the leash. She is a good car passenger and loves to smell the air out her cracked window. She is near perfect on her house training. She can be cat tested upon request. If you were looking for a great walking partner, running partner, hiking partner, and cuddling partner, Bella would be your girl. Bella is up to date on her shots including rabies, heartworm negative, micro-chipped and on heartworm and flea preventatives. Bella would love to have her own family, whether it is single, empty nester or one with kids 7 and up, as her activity level may be too much for a toddler. If you are ready for this sweet girl to provide you a lifetime of loyal companionship, please complete an online application and request Bella on the notes section.
