My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Carter is an approximately 5 month old puppy. He is full of puppy energy, but will likely be a medium energy boy when all grown up. Considering his current size, large paws, and extra long tail, it's estimated that Carter is going to be one big boy when he's done growing, probably somewhere between 80-90 lbs. He is being crate and house trained, and doing very well with both. He is not a big fan of the crate, but settles down quickly. He walks well on a leash, and is a bright boy - learning 'sit' quickly. Carter is the poky puppy, very curious and innovative. He also figured out that the kitchen means food...imagine that. He is being fostered with another dog, whom he loves romping with, as well as with children ages 6-14. He seems to have a soft spot in his heart for the younger kids, and follows them around. Because he is already the size of a small/medium-sized dog, some small children can be intimidated. But he's not a jumper, and responds well to redirection with his toys, and does give gentle kisses. Carter will be neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption. His foster mom would be happy to send additional photos or video if you're interested in this handsome boy.
