Riley's Story...

Riley, spayed female, Jack Russell- Pit Mix (black and white) Approximately 7 Months old.

"Hi! I'm Riley, an adorable Last Chance puppy. A few months ago I was found in an abandoned trailer almost 2 weeks after the former owners had moved out! Yikes! The lady who found me was able to keep me for a few months, but when she had to move to a pet free apartment, I went to live with my fun foster family! Here I get to play with my foster brothers and sisters, and even though they're much bigger than me, I definitely hold my own!

I love kids because they're fun to give kisses to and even kitties (although I know I'm not supposed to kiss them!) I'm such a fun, energetic, and playful little girl but I love to cuddle too. I'm house broken and crate trained and this wonderful pocket-sized 30 pounds is as big as I'm going to get! I would love a fenced in yard to run and play in and a wonderful family to love!

If this sounds like you, please contact my foster mom at katharinehadam@gmail.com or (810) 627-1150. "

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riley, a Howell Jack Russell Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Howell, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Howell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Howell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Howell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Howell paves the way for another one to be saved.
