Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beautiful Bentley! He is a keeper is every sense of the word. Rescued in the last hours before being put down, Bentley knows how lucky he is! Classified as ‘emaciated’ by the volunteers, he had gained weight in the shelter and looked much better when his rescuer picked him up. Bentley knows “lucky”- lucky that his rescuers found him, but also lucky to be finding you, his forever family. Triple lucky to be getting out of high-kill Georgia and on his way to Washington State via cross-country transport. Bentley is on the smaller side, weighing about 45 lbs and is barely 1 year old. Quite mature for his age, Bentley will be super easy to transition to your home. He is comfortably friendly with people as well as other animals and his play is good-natured and respective. He is very happy, easy going and mellow for only a year. Nothing seems to bother him. Bentley is intelligent, obedient and affectionate; also sensible, thoughtful and loyal. When the resident dogs were barking in his foster home, he seemed to say “how can I help” and “chill out” to the others, while staying calm, cool and collected himself. Bentley is patient and good-natured with children and will be a true friend to you. He loves long walks (is good on a leash already) and swims in the pool- he would be most happy accompanying you on all your adventures. This handsome Georgia boy is house trained, crate trained and neutered. Bentley is current on all shots and even micro-chipped. He is hoping to have new folks for him to meet as soon as he gets to town so he doesn’t have to board at the kennel. This awesome boy deserves a fun-filled normal life with all the comfort and freedom the Northwest has to offer!
