My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cuddles is one of the prettiest red merle's I've seen. She is 3 yrs old, has one blue/hazel eye, the other is hazel. She weighs 43 lbs and is around 18 1/2", she could definitely stand to lose about 10 pounds! Cuddles and Cubby (also listed/adopted) were abandoned by their owners when they moved. They ended up at animal control, so we don't know anything about their past.

Cuddles is very sweet and pretty laid back. She gives kisses and cuddles (now we know how she got her name). She greeted my husband and daughter (when they came home from work) like long lost friends and when my 6ft 4" son visited she just loved him! Cuddles jumped right up into my car and into the crate like she's always done it. She is house and crate trained. She's been my shadow since I picked her up. She is standoffish and will growl at dogs when she first meets them (if they get too close) but usually after the first growl she is fine with them. I have 4 aussie's and she's fine with all of them now (even plays with my little mini guy). Cuddles is an attention hog so a home with just one other dog (or no dogs) would work for her. She does need a home with NO small children, she seems to be afraid of them (we will work on that) but children over the age of 10 seem to be ok. I don't know how she is with cats.

Cuddles is completely house and crate trained. She has also started playing with stuffed toys, she'll lay and make them squeak or she'll retrieve them when thrown (doesn't always bring them right back to you). She'll some times lay quietly chewing a bone. She's very quiet and I often find her laying on the kitchen or bathroom floors, snoozing away.

Cuddle is a great house pet, she LOVES being inside!

Cuddles is fostered in Deltona. 5/24/07
