Minnie Tonka's Story...
Listed 4-10-12
Who could not love this face? besides the breeder we got her from...........
she was a breeder release and we are the lucky ones to have gotten her!
she is both loving and curious about this new world she lives in.
she now barks, and likes to sleep with me. A snuggler.
she is 4 years old, and weighs 6 pounds. she is black with tan markings.
she is now fully vetted, which includes spayed, wellness exam, heartworm tested (neg), teeth cleaned, microchipped, and vaccinated.
She does not seem to like the outdoors but will occasionally use the dog door. Mostly to go lay in the sun. she does use the potty pads.
She is looking for a forever home with loving parents, soft beds, good quality food, and a lot of lap time, since that's how we have spoiled her here!!!!
she is somewhat shy at first with new faces but if you wrap her in your arms, she warms up quickly.
She is a bit nervous about being picked up but should get over that with time and patience.
Her adoption fee is $150.00 Please note: we do not adopt to families with children under the age of 10 years old. We require a securely fenced yard. and all other pets in the home must be spayed or neutered and current on vaccines unless there is a medical reason. she is fostered by Cindy

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Minnie Tonka, a Edmond Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Edmond, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Edmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
