Libby *PENDING's Story...
Hi- my name is Libby! I am approx. 10 weeks old as of July 2012. I am a beautiful little long hair black/orange/white calico girl. Could I be any more adorable? I am pictured in one photo with my sister and my pal, Betsy (she is a grayish/peach/white calico). We will both be spayed, vaccinated, tested for FeLv, dewormed and treated with a monthly preventative for fleas, ear mites and worms. We are both litterbox trained/housetrained and we love the pampered indoor life. We can be adopted together or separate. We are both very playful and very loving too. We are also very lucky! Thanks to the good people at A4A!!! We were in a high kill KY shelter and at that shelter they kill all of the animals who are there every Thursday morning—well on Wednesday night we were there, but thankfully A4A found a way to come and save us just in time and our lives were saved! Phew! We will always be forever grateful. And now we are in search of a loving, forever home to call our very own!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Libby *PENDING, a Xenia Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Xenia, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Xenia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Xenia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Xenia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Xenia paves the way for another one to be saved.
