Double Stuff's Story...
Meet Double Stuff. This sweet boy is a 6 week old lab/blue healer mix. His mother was a stray and luckily found rescue before giving birth to her puppies. They spent the first week at the vet and then went to a wonderful foster home. Double Stuff's foster mom says these are the sweetest group of puppies. Incredibly social and very loving. Double Stuff is already used to being handled by lots of kids in his foster home. Their mother is a small blue healer mix and it's believed the dad was a small black lab mix. Double Stuff and his brother, Pinwheel, are the strongest in size and personality of their litter. This sweet boy will be neutered before going to his forever home and will have all age appropriate vetting. He will also be microchipped. Though they he won't be ready to go home until mid-July, apply today. These cute puppies won't last long! Email info@FORrescue.net for more information on how to apply. ** Double Stuff is being fostered near Knoxville, TN. Transport is available to Eastern and Northeast adopters.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Double Stuff, a Hamburg Labrador Retriever/Blue Heeler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Blue Heeler for sale in Hamburg, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Blue Heeler puppy from a breeder in Hamburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
