Jasper's Story...
Meow! My name is Jasper! I was born to a homeless cat on the side of the 101 freeway and a nice lady was feeding me and the rest of my family. She asked a local group to come out and help get us all fixed so no more babies are born there. When the people caught us to get us fixed, they noticed that my siblings were all totally crazy, but I was super nice! They couldn’t bear to see me living on the side of the freeway, so my foster mom brought me to her house.

Now I live with a bunch of other foster kittens and I’m so happy to be safe! I cross my paws every day that I will be adopted into a home with another kitten to tumble around with. I particularly like my buddy Sorrel. He's little bit younger than me, but we have fun togetehr. He's the orange tabby in the picture below.

I am available for immediate adoption, so please contact my foster mom to inquire about meeting me today! Please keep in mind that I would be happiest being adopted with another kitten or in a home that already has a young cat.

This adoption is through a rescue group and an adoption donation and home visit are required. I was born 03/01/2007 and have been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, tested, de-wormed and de-fleaed. Wheeewh!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasper, a Los Angeles Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
