Rascal's Story...
Hi!! I’m Rascal the rascal. My foster mom says I am just the best little puppy and I will grow up to be a wonderful young man. She is training me to sit and be nice to my human and four legged companions so when I go to my forever home I will be a respectful.

I really like to play with my four legged sibling, rolling in the grass is just the bestest. Then digging in the grass is the next bestest thing to do. Oh ya, playing with my toys is bestest too. No, napping on the human couch thingy is bestest. Being safe and loved and wanted is the absolute bested thing in the world.

My foster mommy says that I deserve to have a wonderful life in a loving home. I’m not really sure how I got here, but I know I can’t wait to have a family to call my own.

Won’t you consider bringing me into your family?

As of June 14, 2007 Rascal is about 10 weeks old and will need to be neutered and complete most of his vetting prior to adoption.

Rascal is being fostered in Knoxville, TN and will be transported via PETS LLC transport service once a family has been found for his. All dogs receive monthly heartworm and flea treatment while in foster care. Prior to being transported, Rascal will have one more visit to her vet to get a health certificate.

All of our dogs are micro chipped and registered to the adoptive family.

Rascal’ adoption and transportation fee is $300.00. This will not in any way cover all of the expenses we have incurred in his care, any additional monies in the form of a donation will be appreciated. Friends Fur Life is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible.

If you are interested in making Rascal a member of your family, please email us at FRIENDSFURLIFENE@VERIZON.NET. We can answer your questions and email you an adoption application. Please consider your life style before taking in a new family member. Remember these guys live to be with you so please make sure you have time to love them and provide the attention they so desperately want.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rascal, a Alfred Retriever (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Alfred, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Alfred.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alfred already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alfred breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alfred paves the way for another one to be saved.
