Cocoa's Story...
Cocoa is an 1 year old American Pit Bull Terrier who currently weights 50lbs. She was rescued by our fosters the Werley's along with her sister (Bri) from a tough situation. She is 1 years old now and a confident typical puppy with lots of energy. She is very calm when inside the home but plays like a pro when she gets outside. She is very smart and a quick learner. Cocoa is great with children and dogs, and she likes to chase cats for fun. Cocoa has been living in foster homes most of her life and would transition well into any home.

All of our rescues are fully vetted; up- to- date on shots, heartworm tested, de-wormed, spayed/neutered (unless they are a special needs case with a medical condition preventing the surgery or if they are to young), as well as being up to date on heartworm and flea and tick prevention.

Adoption donation is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cocoa, a Orlando American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Orlando, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
