My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bella Blu was saved in the 11th hour from NYC's high kill shelter. Her previous owners stated they had no time for her and she lived alone for 8 hours a day in the house, then they did nothing with her when they got home. She is a stunning blue nose, blue brindle with a big white sash, white paws and the softest fur you ever touched. She is a very friendly two year old who goes out of her way to meet and greet anyone and get her pats. She loves to curl up on the couch with you and just spend with you. She is wonderfully housebroken and non-destructive. She loves car rides and is good with dogs using a slow introduction to her new housemates. She loves toys, especially balls. Her idea match would be either a sports minded person who would like to take her jogging or hiking, she loves the water, but would need a life vest as she is not the greatest swimmer yet. She is currently being trained to run alongside a bike and is doing wonderfully and really enjoys it. If you are thinking of doing search and rescue or are in law enforcement looking for a drug sniffing candidate, she has the qualities that would make her an excellent candidate as she is highly toy motivated. Other good matches for her would be a family with teenagers, an owner with other bully breeds/large dogs, or a long distance trucker who wants a constant companion.. Her size dictates that she could easily knock over a small child so don't recommend small children only for that reason. NO CATS. Lets give this sweetheart the life she never had in her past
