Celeste's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Celeste's Story...
Celeste was pulled from a Kansas City shelter. She was turned into the shelter by an owner and was covered with fleas when she was taken in. Consequently, she has what is called Flea Dermatitis. She has bare areas (in inconspicuous spots). We are treating her with antibiotics and hopefully, her fur will grow back. She was born on 12-26-2007, so just turned 4 years old and weighs only 5 1/2 pounds. She's a super sweet little doll baby. All fun, all the time with her. She has a wonderful, sparkling personality and gets along just fine with the dogs in her foster home. Honestly, if I didn't already have 7 dogs, I'd keep her myself. Celeste is spayed, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, on heartworm/flea preventative, is microhipped and has had a dental cleaning. Her adoption fee is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Celeste, a House Springs Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in House Springs, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in House Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in House Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a House Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in House Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
