Macy's Story...
Meet Macy! At just 1-½ years old, this beauty is about as well behaved of a dog as you can find. She loves snuggling and lounging in the house as much as she loves going for a walk! Her manners are a dream, if you can forgive her from trying to sneak up on the couch when nobody is looking! Macy loves children and is remarkably gentle even with the smallest kids. This angelic mixed breed dog is waiting for a home to call her own. She's good on a leash, housebroken, and affectionate.

Macy is eager for a new start in life and just wants a loving family to take her home. Might you be willing to make her dreams come true? If so, contact her adoption consultant, Paula at 440-668-6745 or for more information. Macy is hanging out in a foster home, so Paula can arrange for you to meet this sweet pup!

** The adoption fee helps to cover the general veterinarian check-up, heartworm test, spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, rabies vaccination, worming, flea preventative, and microchip that all dogs adopted through Berea ARF receive prior to going into their new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Macy, a Berea Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Berea, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
