I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Sweety's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and not good with dogs.

Sweety's Story...
Sweety came to us after we found out that her owner had dementia. Last year, Sweetie weighed 15#, this year, she weighed 6#. Her owner was forgetting to feed her. Since we have had her, she is back up to 12#, plays and is happy and healthy!

Sweety is in need of a patient and loving home. She is spayed, has had recent bloodwork and is current on her vaccines. She would do best in a home with older childrean and no other pets as she has difficulty controlling how hard she grabs toys, treats and even her playmates.

Sweety's foster mom has been working with her and she has learned to sit, lie down and trade objects for food. She does still need a lot of help with housetraining.

If you have the time, space and energy for Sweety, please contact 781-233-1340. She is a bit of a handful but her life was saved for a reason... could that reason be you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sweety, a Peabody Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Peabody, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Peabody.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Peabody already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Peabody breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Peabody paves the way for another one to be saved.
