My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SUPER URGENT!!! STILL IN NEED!!!!Trinket is a 2 year old tan with white female Pitty Mix. Trinket was born with a deformed front leg (it is twisted around as you can see from the photos, but she uses it just fine);because of this no-one wanted to adopt her at the shelter and her time was up! Trinket is a cuddle bug and just wants to be loved! She was very sad when she was picked up as a stray and taken to the shelter and her people never came for her. Trinket spent the next week watching everyone who came through the door just in case her family came back, but sadly they never did...despite this, Trinket is the sweetest little girl and has the most beautiful Pitty smile. Trinket is a medium energy dog who loves people and gets on with other dogs. This is what our wonderful photographer had to say about her: "Trinket is a sweet girl with a big heart. She was eager to get outside but settled down after a couple of minutes and did well on the leash. Trinket has a leg deformity but it doesn't slow her down, she's not bothered by it. She loves being around people! She would curl up in my lap or wiggle around on her back in the grass next to me. Trinket was attentive and alert. She would stare at every car that drove past us and wag her tail. We encountered a few dogs on our way back to the kennel. She was eager and seemed happy to meet the other dogs but I didn't let her interact. She didn't show any signs of aggression".
NO CATS or SMALL DOGS. Friendly with dogs her own size or larger!
Trinket is currently located in Maryland. If you can help Trinket, please contact Barbara Bertling of FARM (Fallston Animal Rescue Movement) at fallstonrescue@aol.com or 410-557-6161, or Toni Vale at valetonic@hotmail.com.
