My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dakota is looking for a loving forever home. She was adopted at the 'eleventh hour' from a local animal shelter as she was surrendered by her first family as they tragically lost their house in a fire and then moved to a place that Dakota couldn't re-join them:(. She is now looking for another home as her current Guardian is moving.
Dakota is a 9 1/2 year old spayed female Pitbull mix. She is UTD on her shots. Dakota has recently had successful surgery for her inverted eyelids (Entropia), which she must have been in pain with for some time. Her first family said that she is good with children and cats, however Dakota's current person can't confirm this as he doesn't have either. This is what he had to say about her:
"She is a sweet dog, and likes to play and be petted and scratched. She is house-trained. Apparently she was allowed to sleep on furniture, as I have found her several times on my couch. She is also very obedient. I also think Dakota would be better in a home where there are people around a lot of the time, at least more than in my case".
