My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Ranger!

Ranger is a sweet little snuggle bug who is looking for a moderately active home to enjoy his puppyhood in. He is a social butterfly and loves to visit with everyone he meets.

Ranger previously lived with a family that didn't realize that owning a dog would be so much responsibility. Unfortunately, Ranger was very neglected for the first 8 months of his life and spent most of it either locked in a crate or tied up in the back yard. Everything is new to Ranger - he is like an 10 week old puppy in a teenage body. He is starting to learn all about life and explore but still needs lots of socializing and education. Ranger is very responsive to positive training styles, but is still very distracted as he really wants to learn about the world around him and all the fun things he missed out on.

Ranger needs a home that will keep his mind and his body engaged with activity. He is happy to sit and snuggle, but also needs to run, play and explore - he has a lot of learning to catch up on and is ready and eager to get going! He is a well balanced border collie that has energy, but not so much that he is hard to manage. We have not tested him with cats or children, but he has such a sweet and gentle nature and is very willing to learn.

Ranger is about 10 months old, neutered, vaccinated, has begun his training and will soon be ready for a new home. Application, home check and adoption fee of $250 to cover his neuter will apply. Positive based training classes and follow up socializing will be mandatory for his new home so that he can continue along his great path to success!

Are you the one that Ranger is looking for?

Sorry, to avoid stress for Ranger, adoption application MUST be filled out and approved before any meet and greets are set up. Thanks for your understanding!
