Emmy's Story...
MEET YOUR MATCH: LIFE OF THE PARTY

I think everything is fun, interesting and meant to play, especially you. Anything you do, I'll want to do too. With my own brand of surprise, life with me will keep you constantly on your toes, and the fun is guaranteed!

Emmy is a 1-year old Staffie mix whose owner surrendered her, explaining she was moving and couldn't take Emmy with her. Emmy quickly became a favorite at the shelter. She's full of energy and boundless good cheer, and very playful. She loves showing off her toys to her human friends. Emmy would enjoy daily long walks and play time. She'd be perfect for someone who lives an active life and wants a playful companion by your side. Oh, yes, one more thing: Emmy was very nice and submissive to all the other dogs she encountered. Emmy is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. A true gem of a dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emmy, a New York Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in New York, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
