Bailey's Story...
Bailey is a 6 month old Saint Bernard mix puppy (possibly mixed with Australian Shepherd) who was released to us by her owner. She is on the smaller side for a Saint, but the perfect size for cuddling. Bailey gets along fine with dogs of all sizes and cats and loves to be with people. She is a smart girl who in less than a week has already learned 3 of her basic obedience commands in her foster home. Continued obedience work will be required of the lucky family who adopts Bailey as she's a girl who needs a job to do. She is full of puppy energy and enthusiasm and loves to play fetch, tug-o-war and with squeeky toys. She is housetrained and crate trained. If interested in adopting Bailey, please download and print an adoption application from our web site at www.sunnysaints.org, fill it out and submit it as instructed and you will be contacted within 24 hours.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Bellflower St. Bernard/Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard/Australian Shepherd for sale in Bellflower, or seeking a St. Bernard/Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Bellflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with St. Bernard/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
