Lesser Sulfur Crested Cockatoo
Fostered by Amanda & Ron of Fernandina Beach, FL

Lucy is a 10 year old Lesser Sulfur Crested Cockatoo. She is a sweet bird who is very friendly and loves scritches, but does take some time to settle in and begin to trust you. Once she does, you are good to go and she is eager to come out of her cage and play as much as you want! She does prefer women and she is fine around dogs and good around kids as well (just remember that with all birds, to watch those little fingers and teach your kids proper parrot etiquette). She is very healthy and in beautiful feather! She does speak some and can say “Hi Baby”, “Hello baby”, “Hi Sweet”, “Hi there”, “How are you” and “I Love You” and she makes kissing sounds too! She is ready for a loving home and a family of her own!
