Lucas's Story...
Lucas is a beautiful boy with amazing eyes, they are white with blue flecks, just gorgeous! He has under gone heartworm treatment and is ready for adoption iHe has scars on his legs from his previous life but we have seen nothing but wonderful attitude and a very playful personality from this beautiful guy.he didn't seem be comfortable with dogs his size from one experience we have had with him meeting another a Great Dane, but it was also a male and he was a bit intimidating so it may have just been that individual dog. he is great with all other dogs he has met. We will be having our next adoption event at Inskip's Warwick Auto Mall in Warwick, RI August 11 from 10-4 Please come see all of us there.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucas, a Pelham Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Pelham, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Pelham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pelham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pelham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pelham paves the way for another one to be saved.
