My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HI!!! My name is Andy and I'm a 2 year old male.  When I came to my foster parents home, I was a bit on the skinny side.  In the few weeks I have been with my foster family, I have gained a few pounds and started a new friendship with my families 1.5 year old Shih Tzu.  I often find myself playing tug of war with my foster sister!    They have also introduced me to their 1 year old and 3 year old niece and nephew whom I adore getting hugs from.  However, the best time I have with them is when we go for long walks or chasing down tennis balls for at least an hour out at the dog park!  When we are home, I enjoy chewing on my huge bone that my family gave me or sleeping on the couch with either my foster dad or mom.  At night, I sleep on the bed my foster mom made for me.  I usually sleep during the night unless I hear an unfamiliar sound in which I warn the entire house!  I am a pretty good listener, but I still need a ton of training and extra attention.  I would probably do better in a house with older kids as I can become very excited and loose my spatial awareness.  However, with training I would do good around small children.  I am patiently waiting for the right family to come and adopt me.
