Joi's Story...
Tallie (silver gray tabby) and Joi ( black and silver tabby) are brothers and I would love to keep adopted them together, they are inseperable and will keep you entertained for hours. When they play, they play hard and when they stop, they fall hard as well. They are very loving kittens, I have had them since they were rescued from BARC at 6 weeks old. They love to show you love and affection by nuzzelling and LOVE to sleep with you... They don't sleep the whole night with you, they come and go, but you never know it unless you wake up. They do not bit or scratch people and they LOVE my older cats, and my older cats have learned to tollerate and love them too. (I have cats that are 17, 15, 14, 5 and 1 yr old, and they all get along fine.) They will grow up to be big, tall, lanky adults based on their leg length and paw size. If you want love, theyse 2 are for you. They have never been seperated and will keep each other company. PLEASE FIND IT IN YOUR HEART TO ADOPT THEM TOGETHER. You won't be sorry......

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joi, a Houston Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
