Levi Hector's Story...
Levi Hector is a neutered male Chihuahua mix, three years old. His former master entered medical school and no longer had time for him. Levi loves people and is good with other dogs and with cats. He is crate trained and housebroken. According to what we were told, he has spent most of his short life alone since his caretaker and his roommates were all working. All Levi wants from life is to have someone to hold and love him. Sadly, he now sits in a window looking for his former master to retrieve him. He has no idea where he is and why he lost the only home he knew--even though that home wasn't that great. This time around, Levi deserves to have a devoted person who is going to lavish him with love and attention for the rest of his life. He is just a wonderful boy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Levi Hector, a Loudonville Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Loudonville, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Loudonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Loudonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Loudonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Loudonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
