My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amigo: 8-12 mth old black & tan male, neutered, docked tail and uncropped ears. 9.9 lb. Fully vetted. Rescued from shelter.
Very sweet friendly little boy. He is wonderful with our 7 yr old daughter and gets along well with our dogs. He does get a bit jealous at times when attention is given to another dog but hasn't shown aggression towards them. His only issue is marking territory (He always goes outside for #2's). The belly band worked initially but now is not stopping him. We are now caging him more often and watching very closely when he is out. Although he plays well with our male Min Pin he is more dominant with him and more submissive with our girls so he may be better suited in a home without another male dog or possibly as the only dog to minimize his territorial marking. When we got Amigo he was very underweight but is steadily gaining over this past week and a half (more than 1 lb). The shelter he came from stated he was aggressive especially with men but he warmed up to my husband almost immediatey. He is slightly shy with strangers but not abnormally so especially for a Min Pin. Overall Amigo is a wonderful boy and with close supervision and training and the right home should make a great family addition.
