Jaxon's Story...
Please help Jaxon find a home! He is a small, energetic, friendly pit mix approximately 3 years old. He is a sweet boy who was abandoned at our kennel by his owner! He is not neutered, but he is current on all vaccinations with no medical issues. He came from a home with children, and would do best in a home without cats. He gets along with other dogs, and is super playful when he goes on walks with us! There is no adoption fee, and the only requirements are a successful home visit supervised by Roaring Brook Kennels staff, and a positive reference from your current veterinarian. Can you or anyone you know help Jaxon? Please call 860-693-0603 if you think you can. Don’t forget to share this link with friends!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jaxon, a Old Saybrook American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Old Saybrook, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Old Saybrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Old Saybrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Old Saybrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Old Saybrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
