Sterling's Story...
Sterling...Male...Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix...DOB Feb. 2012...contact pharlap0199@yahoo.com
Sterling is a love bug - affectionate and playful, but not hyper - 28 pounds of sweetness! He was abandoned in his foster mom's neighborhood in extreme heat, but is happy and healthy now. He loves other dogs, and enjoys going to the dog park to play with all of his fur friends. He also discovered that he can swim and loves to play in the water. He is crate and house trained and knows how to use a doggie door. He has learned how to sit and walks well on a leash. He would make a fantastic family pet and has the potential to be an agility super star! Sterling is current on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. Contact pharlap0199@yahoo.com for more information or to schedule a "meet up."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sterling, a Kingwood Australian Shepherd/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie for sale in Kingwood, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Kingwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kingwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kingwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Border Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kingwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
