DeeDee is almost a year old. She is a Chihuahua/Terrier mix (either Jack Russel or Rat Terrier) She is spayed, HW Negative, up to date on her vaccinations & is microchipped.
DeeDee had a very rough start in a shelter environment & needs some patience with crate training & house training. She is happy go lucky, eager to please & knows some basic commands.
DeeDee is in a foster home with kids & other various sized dogs & does great with everyone. She is playful, and a very social girl. She can get a bit snippy/ bossy with the bigger dogs if she feels they are plowing over her, but in general is very tolerant . She loves people & tends to be wherever you are.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DeeDee, a Saint Augustine Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Saint Augustine, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Saint Augustine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saint Augustine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saint Augustine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saint Augustine paves the way for another one to be saved.
