Teddy is about as sweet as they come - gentle, mellow, affectionate, and handsome - this snuggly guy is a true treasure! Saying Teddy loves his people might be an understatement...he loves being held, sitting on your lap, and rubbing up against your legs...simply being near you is enough to get Teddy's purr motor humming with pleasure! When Teddy is spending quality time with his people he likes having his chin, cheeks, and head scratched, and especially loves having his ears rubbed! You should be prepared for 1 of 2 things to happen when you begin to pet Teddy for an extended period of time. The first possibility is you may pet Teddy until your arm gets to the point where it feels like it could fall off. In this instance, Teddy will look at you with those big, blue eyes of his and gently nudge your hand until you look deep inside yourself and realize that your arm in fact does have the strength to continue petting him. The second possibility of an extended petting session with Teddy, especially coupled with gentle stroking along the bridge of his nose, is that Teddy becomes so relaxed that his paws s-t-r-e-t-c-h out and those big, blue eyes of his slowly close until he drifts off into such a sound and contented sleep that you have to slowly extract yourself from him and then tiptoe away because he looks so darned relaxed you would hate for him to awaken! The great thing about Teddy is he's not pushy in asking for affection or attention, it's just that he's so charming and handsome and sweet that people find themselves falling under his spell and can't help but eagerly give him all of the love and attention he enjoys so much!
Teddy does partake in other activities when he's not enjoying snuggle time with his people. He enjoys having his beautiful fur coat brushed. He enjoys the companionship of other friendly kitties. And our mellow Teddy does enjoy playtime! He likes swatting at colorful pipe cleaners and alternately chewing and biting on sparkly feather wands that he encounters!
