Ferb's Story...
I’m a cutie named Ferb, and my round face and plush fur is quite adorable, or so I’m told. Although I’m a kitten and playful as all get-out, I love nothing better than cuddling. I’m likely to grow up to be a total lap cat. I love to play hide-and-seek with my brother, Phin (short for Phineas). When we’re playing together, I’ll bound up in the air with wild abandon. I love companionship, so I’d do best in a home with another kitten or cat to love me and a family that wants to spend lots of time playing with and snuggling with me.

For more information about me, or about FOHA's adoption process, contact my volunteer friends at 703-385-0224 or adopt-a-cat@foha.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ferb, a Aldie Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
