Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Arooooooo! Or should I say Aro…’cause I’m so tired! You’d be tired too if you just had nine babies six weeks ago and all they did was follow you around trying to eat. Do you know how hard it is to take care of NINE babies????? And they have teeth now! Anyway, I’m very ready to find my forever home because it will be much quieter, and then I can be the center of attention.
I’m a beautiful, modest 3-year-old-tri-colored beagle from Michigan who was owner surrender. My name used to be Sassy, and my foster mom thinks that name fits me perfectly because as I’m getting more comfortable and my babies are getting more independent, I’m getting into more mischief. I howl for my dinner now much to foster Mama’s chagrin, but I only do it because I’m so hungry. I’m only about 21 lbs. and I’m super skinny so I need to gain a little weight, but I'm working on my manners so I can be more polite in my forever home. I’m the alpha girl in the house currently because of keeping my babies and dinner safe, but I get along well with most of the other beagles that live here. I don’t really play yet, but I can make myself comfortable anywhere. I love my evening strolls, and can walk over a mile with no trouble at all. Foster Mama says I have a slight prey drive, but I only tug on the leash a little and howl a bit when I see rabbits or squirrels. My howl is unique because it is kind of a soft aroo and makes the humans laugh every time. Even though I’m tiny, I am a counter surfer; I'm pretty determined and surprisingly good at getting into food. I'm working on potty training, but it’s been hard because I’ve been eating so much to keep up with the babies. I potty outside on a leash or in the backyard with no trouble and working on letting my foster Mama know when I have to go. Since I haven’t been out much, foster Mama isn’t sure how I am with human kids or the car, but she plans on finding out as soon as she can.
Are you looking for a sweet, lovable, petite beagle girl? Then, I might be the pup for you!
