Roux's Story...
Roux is rich and thick with personality. Her life was not the perfect picture to a great start. Rittled with infections, Roux fought her way to survive and now enjoys life to the fullest.
Roux is a spunky, loving and affecionate little girl. Crate trained, house broken and knows some of her puppy manners. She is well versed in play from bouncing around with her Dane foster siblings to wrestling with her smaller friends.
Roux's improvement has been a miracle to us at LPBR and she would be a wonderful addition to a family that will enjoy her company and love.
Roux will be spayed here soon, but at 5 months she is ready to venture into a new chapter and hopes that will be soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roux, a Houston Blue Lacy/Texas Lacy puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Lacy/Texas Lacy for sale in Houston, or seeking a Blue Lacy/Texas Lacy puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Lacy/Texas Lacy breeders who help with Blue Lacy/Texas Lacy rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
