Justine's Story...
Justine is a super social friendly kitten with a hilarious baritone voice. This bright girl loves to make friends, to play with cats and people alike and to give kisses and head butts to both species. She is athletic, cuddly, nonchalant and nosy. Justine is not vocal, but wouldn't hesitate to briefly tell you what she dreamed after she awakes from a nap, or, to announce that she is ready for action or food. Justine was rescued with her litter mates and mom when she was only 5 weeks old. Unlike her siblings and mom, this beautiful girl hasn't found her own home yet.
She was born around 6/7/12.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Justine, a New York Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in New York, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
