Rosie - a tiny sweetie's Story...
Rosie was found by a good samaritan in the Four Seasons area, and is now being fostered, after efforts to find her owner have not been successful. Rosie is in need of a new home to love her and keep her safe now. Although she is a bit camera shy, she is a super sweet little girl that is housebroken and loving. She is estimated to be 8 years old and has just completed some dental work and vet care to ensure she has a long, happy life for her new owner! She is in good health, gets along with other dogs and loves to tuck herself in at night. She is a great, housebroken little companion. Please contact Jan via email rfjg2903@bellsouth.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie - a tiny sweetie, a Greensboro Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
