Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rikki is a Take Me Home courtesy post. Rikki is not affiliated with Take Me Home. She is not under our care. Take Me Home is not responsible for any adoptions through private parties. For more information on Rikki, please contact Domominque domoniquemosborn@gmail.com
Rikki both looks and acts much more like a terrier. She is more cautious, and very high energy. It takes her some time before she will really completely relax with someone. She responds very well to training and is VERY eager to please. She would do much better in a household with no more than 4 people, preferably with active personalities. Rikki is extremely submissive, she rarely fights for herself and tends to bend to the will of others around her pretty easily. She is afraid of other dogs, so a household with another pet should be considered very carefully. I do think that she could learn to be less afraid, she definitely appears interested in other dogs and she doesn't get aggressive, but at the moment, she doesn't do well with it. Rikki use to be equally as cautious of people, but that has changed drastically ever since the spay. Now she will walk up to any stranger and does not get scared. She would be a great dog for someone who wants one that they can spoil and focus their attention on.
