My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! Meet Scooby, an 11 year old beagle cocker spaniel mix. Scooby was at the county shelter for over a month, after his owner turned him in. His owner had a medical problem and could no longer care for Scooby. So, Scooby sat for over 30 days waiting for someone to adopt him. He went on the euthanasia list while he was there after his first week, because they found a wound on my shoulder. So, they put him on the e-list. They were able to treat his wound, so they put him back up for adoption. Then on July 12, they found that the wound was just a mess, and they were going to put him down. Luckily some good people sent out pleas for Scooby, and Jill Lenz had him pulled from the shelter, and taken to the vet to get looked at.
They are having the wound checked out and will know how soon Scooby will be ready for adoption.
if you think you might be interested in giving Scooby a good home, please contact Jill Lenz at
