Godfrey's Story...
Hi! My name is Godfrey. I am an 8 year old Jack Russell Terrier mix. I was rescued from the Sacramento SPCA after my family had to give me up because our house burned down and they could no longer take care of me. Now Grace is giving a new shot at life and I am excited to find a great new family to love me. I am a fun loving guy that enjoys running and playing but I am also happy to just sit with you on your lap for some down time too. I am house broken and know all the basic commands. I love other dogs and get along well with children too. I would make a great new addition to your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Godfrey, a El Dorado Hills Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in El Dorado Hills, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in El Dorado Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Dorado Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Dorado Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Dorado Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
