My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bella would be happy to go on a couple of walks a day and then lay around and sleep the rest of the time.
Bella had a rough start in life. When she was only a few days old, a very uncaring person left her, along with 4 brothers and sisters, in a box in a shopping cart in the Walmart parking lot. Her little eyes weren’t even open yet! A good Samaritan found the puppies and took them home to care for them. This good person was a school bus driver, and had to go back to work after the holidays, so he contacted a rescue group who took over the care of the pups. Their new foster mom bottle fed them around the clock, and a foster mama dog did her part and helped feed the pups too.
When they were 3 weeks old, their foster mom posted them on petfinder.com, and a couple who were looking to adopt a puppy found them. The couple traveled an hour away to first meet the puppies, and picked out their favorite. They couldn’t decide between their two favorites, so they decided to take them both!
When they were 6 weeks old, the two pups went home to live with their new family. Bella and Biscuit loved their new family very much, and their new humans loved them very much too. They were always good pups, never destructive, and had many, many good times together with their family.
Almost 8 years later, Bella and Biscuit are looking for a new home. Their family has grown by two human babies, and their Grandma moved in to help with the babies. Sadly, Grandma is allergic to the pups. No matter how much cleaning and preventatives are done, Grandma stays sick. The littlest baby seems to be having some allergy troubles too, as does the mom. After struggling with the decision for more than six months, Bella and Biscuit’s family had to make the heart-breaking decision to find them a new home.
Bella is a sweet, loving dog. Since she’s an older pup now, she would be happy to go on a couple of walks a day, and then lay around and sleep the rest of the day. Bella's ideal home would be with someone with no kids. Although she's very loving, loyal and protective, little people make her nervous, so she needs to go to a new home with no little kids. She would be a great dog for an older person looking for a calm, loving companion.
Bella is up-to-date on all of her shots and vet care, crate-trained, house-trained and micro-chipped. Bella has had basic obedience classes and knows hand signals for “sit”, “lie down” and “stay.” She’s ready for her forever home or a foster home. If at all possible, Bella and Biscuit would love to stay together and go to the same home. If that’s not possible, they could live out the rest of their lives separately, as long as they get lots of love from their new family.
