Lucy's Story...
Lady Lucy is as sweet as they get! She loves to be with her people and will follow you around, just to make sure she doesn't miss out on any of the action. Lucy specializes in chasing the ball and stealing socks so she can have an old fashion game of tug. When she is finally tired, Lady Lucy likes to snuggle up for cuddles. Lucy is as sharp as a whip and learns quickly. She has very good manners with other dogs and respects the senior dogs she is currently living with. Lucy knows sit, No, can walk on a leash and is crate trained. We are still working on potty training, but it is coming along
West Coast Rottweiler Rescue does not adopt outside of British Columbia. If you would like to meet Lucy please contact us for an application. We do not have a shelter. All dogs are in foster care

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Surrey Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Surrey, or seeking a Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Surrey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Surrey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Surrey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Husky/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Surrey paves the way for another one to be saved.
