My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SHREVEPORT/BOSSIER, LA., OR SURROUNDING AREA!
Cooper (male) URGENT!! 4 YEAR OLD PINSCHER MIX – TOTAL LAP DOG – NOT A BARKER – HOUSETRAINED – NO SMALL CHILDREN - FULLY VETTED – OWNER MOVING BY JULY 31ST!!
CONTACT: 318-210-6733
Cooper does well with other animals after he adapts to them. Cooper is a laid-back kind of dog... not much into playing. He would be perfect for an older couple or a family with older kids. He loves to cuddle and he sleeps in the bed. He is not a barker. The only time you hear him bark is when he is the back yard and we have a privacy fence and he sees a cat. He does okay on the leash after a few minutes. He is not a digger. He has a good temperament, but is nervous around small children (most dogs are). He loves car rides and loves being in the front seat.

There is a screening and/or application process to adopt me and my adoption fee is a suggested donation to NINNA’S ROAD TO RESCUE, a 501c3 non-profit organization, of $30 so that they can continue their Adoption Assistance Program for area pets in need and to help assure I go to a good home. Also, be sure to keep me on a monthly heartworm preventive. Dogs get heartworms from mosquitoes and the only way to protect me is with a monthly preventive that you get from your vet!

If you need to re-home a pet and want your pet posted here and adoptapet.com, e-mail roadtorescue@bellsouth.net for more information on what we need to post your animal.

Please also consider donating to Ninna’s Road to Rescue. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization and your donation is tax deductible. All donations go towards our small dog breed facility and towards the continuance of our Adoption Assistance Program to assist pet owners in re-homing their pets. Please visit www.RoadtoRescueLA.org for donation information.
