Mamie is best friends with Tigger. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
I am already spayed and up to date with shots.
Mamie was found a long way away from her feral colony. Since she is still quite young, it was decided to bring her in. She can be a little shy at first, but then becomes very cuddly. she has unusual & very beautiful, very dark ebony fur along with her white fur.
The Cat House is a non-profit, no-kill shelter in Lincoln, Nebraska. We are a limited admission feline-only shelter. We began operations in 1998 to provide an alternative to traditional shelters. We only euthanize for pain and suffering, never to make space for more adoptable cats. We are an all-volunteer group. In addition to our shelter facility at 3633 "O" St in Lincoln, Nebraska, we also house cats at one of the local PetSmart stores. We exist entirely on adoption fees and donations. If you would like to adopt a cat, please see information about our process at www.thecathouse.org/adopt. If you would like to donate to help pay the rent or the utilities, you may do so by credit card via Pay Pal on our website or send a check to our address. Local volunteers are always needed and welcomed. If you would like to volunteer, please fill out an application on our website.

Our adoption process, including a link to the application form, is described here: www.thecathouse.org/adopt. All cats and kittens have been spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia virus, microchipped, and are up-to-date on rabies and RCP ("distemper") vaccinations. To help facilitate adoptions we adopt only within a 200 radius from of Lincoln Nebraska and we cannot ship cats.
