Petey and Petra Pigeon's Story...
We have lots of pigeons in the rescue of all colors. Some were banded pigeons, some were pets and very friendly. They quickly bond with humans - they love attention and their "coo, coo" is like music. If you would like to adopt pigeons, you'll need proper caging to give them space, provide food and water, and lots of love.

Carolina Waterfowl Rescue is an all volunteer organization dedicated to helping injured and abandoned water birds in the greater Charlotte NC area. We take in over 2000 birds a year from NC and SC and other states as far away as Michigan, Virginia, Georgia, and Florida. While we are a federally licensed wildlife rehabilitation center, we do take in domestic birds in need.
